Friday Weight Checks: Baseline Weight: 10/4, 10/18, 11/1, 11/15, 11/29, 12/13, 12/27, 1/10, 1/24, 2/7, Final: 2/21

Competition  Rules

Remember the scene from "Young Frankenstein" when Gene Wilder has Marty Feldman lock him in the room with the monster and told him not to let him out no matter what he says? Its a lot like that.

- The competition lasts 20 weeks during which time each must lose 20 pounds, Minimum 1 pound a week.

- Your weight is confidential. Only your selected coach sees your actual weight.

-  Weigh-ins are every 2 weeks and there is a penalty of $50 for each  of the two pounds not lost during that two week period. The money must be given immediately to your selected coach to hold until the end of the challenge so that you feel immediate pain for being a slacker.

- At the end of the 20 weeks you forfeit $50 for every pound less than  20 that you lost.

- The penalty money gets split up amongst everyone who did lose the 20 lbs as a reward for hard effort or their portion can be donated to their selected charity (Ferry Beach?).

This competition has it all. Short term motivation. Long term motivation. Fear. Greed. and even some of the other 7 deadly sins which I can not remember right now I think.

Rules

- Twenty weeks to lose 20 pounds. Minimum 1 pound per week.

- Competitors will select starting and end dates.

- Weight is confidential.

-  Select a friend as coach to verify and submit weights and hold penalty money.

-  Lose 2 lbs each 2 week weigh-in or pay $50 for each pound not lost that period

-  Coach must immediately collect and hold penalty money as negative feedback.

-  For every pound less than 20 lost then $50 is forfeited at end. Coach returns any extra penalty money to you and distributes final penalty money at that time to team at that time.

- Anyone losing 20 pounds gets to split the pot.

-  If no one loses 20 pounds everyone keeps their money. (Don't count on it!!!)

Remember the point is for everyone to lose the weight and not to forfeit any money!!!! Who really wants to benefit from someone elses lack of willpower?
